I did this last weekend when Brandon and I installed our new front door (well, since I hurt my toe at the beginning of the installation Brandon's parents came to the rescue and helped finish installing it). I did this to my toe by dropping the old solid wood door on my big toe. I hope it heals before it gets to cold because I can't wear shoes that are not opened toed. I will post picture of the new door once it is completely done. For now enjoy these painful images....

A: My toe nail will be okay and will stay on
B: You might as well count it as a goner and hope the new one grows back fast and just as pretty as the original one
My vote is a big ol' B! I lost a toenail a couple of years ago in September-thankfully it stays hot in GA for a while. By the next spring it was completely back and no one is any the wiser.
