Throw Back Thursday

Libby, Me, Gina
In honor of Gina and her throw back album I am displaying a picture of us from 9th grade.

12:35am

That is what time I went to bed last night. I know crazy (for me because I like my sleep)! But, I was reading Love the one you're with by Emily Giffin and I could not put it down. I had to know how the story ended and just kept telling myself "I will just read till the next chapter then go to bed" but I didn't stop untill I was finished. So, if you are interested in reading about a woman who finds who she thinks is the one and then they break-up only to meet years later and now she is married and is traped in the "what might of been" catagory with new and old emotions then you must read this book. I was (in my mind) yelling at her and crying with her. It was a great read.

April= Painting + More Painting + More Painting....

House Now
House Then
So, starting the month of April I set out to do what I have planned to do for about a year now....Painting my house. Yes, I know I did the most evil thing that a person could do; Paint over brick. With the help of power washing provided by Roger and the help of Mike, Katie, Roger, Eva, and my mom we had the whole main of the house painted in one weekend. But... someone still had to paint all of the trim around the eves and the windows and that my friends has been a task handled by me. So, as April comes to the end the only parts of the house that are finished (sort of) are the front and the east side. In my defense though, April did have a lot of rainy and still cool/cold days. One day I will finish and then Jonathan and Erin we can have that cookout. Oh, we also have new windows, which you cannot see really well in the "then" photo.

Welcome

I hope that I fill up your needless time at work or at home about what goes on in my day. Which, by the way is nothing that is extremely exciting that it will have you waiting with bated breath until my next posting. I have long since wanted to start a blog and thus after giving up blogging for lent I have now begun my blog. Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by. By the way I should warn you that grammar and spelling are not my strong points. I only survived English because I love to read and reading comprehension came easily.
